Magyar, akinek fáj ... TRIANON!

Cser Ferenc
Magyarország ellenezte a háborút.

Ma nemzeti tragédiánk napjára, a trianoni gyalázatra emlékezünk.

Lázadó, rebellis lett a magyar. Nagy számú dala, zenéje, változatos tüzes tánca, a regéi idegenek voltak a hódítók számára. Irritálta őket a puszta létük. Irritálta őket a Kárpát-medence őslakóinak életereje, szorgalma, gazdagsága – és békés életmódja. Igen, mindez irritálta a magát felsőbbrendűnek vélőket. Irritálta a békediktátum előkészítőit, hogy vereségét követően eltaposta a véreskezű bolsevik kalandorokat, akik pedig az országot tálcán kínálták volna a nemzetköziség részére. 'Nem akarok katonát látni!' – harsogta a bolsevik hadügyminiszter.

Trianonra, ahol aláíratták a magyarokkal a megalázó békediktátumot.

A patkánylázadást Horthy Miklós vezetésével elfojtották.
A nemzet gyászolt. De a nemzethalál még sem következett be, az országot a megfelelő politikai vezetéssel mégis sikerült ismét talpra állítani és a diktátum kibocsátását követően két évtizeddel ismét életképes állapotba emelni. Megbocsáthatatlan bűn ez a nemzetköziek szemében! Hungarizmus! Nacionalizmus! Trianon!

Hiszen máris magukban hordozták a következő 'világháború' magját, ami aztán negyed évszázadon belül menetrendszerűen be is következett. Trianon.

A szövetségesek barbár módon szétbombázták, szétlőtték Budapestet. Aztán tartották a markukat háborús jóvátételért. De, hogy biztos ne tudjuk kifizetni előbb a teljes magyar gyáripar-, közlekedés eszközkészletét elszállították és a termelő egységekben orosz résztulajdont iktattak be. Trianon.

Újabb bűn, újabb ok a magyarok büntetésére. Trianon.

A keletről induló bolsevizálás helyett más megoldást kellett kidolgozni.

Azon a földön, ami a magyar nyelvű műveltség egyik forrása, a magyar népdalok, népi táncok, díszítőművészet és regevilág egyik leggazdagabb tárháza. Ott, ahol a magyarság őslakos. Trianon.

Trianon.

Legutóbb Bencsik János írta a Barikádban velük kapcsolatosan:

Trianon.
Magyarországon, magyarnak születtem. Magyar az anyanyelvem. A magyar műveltségben nevelkedtem. Trianon.

Mindezeket Trianon szó véd-jelzi. Trianon, ahol Magyarországot, a magyarságot kollektíve bűnösnek nyilvánították.

A múltat s jövendőt!

Elhangzott: a canberrai magyarok 2012. június 2.-i és a Sydney-i magyarok 2012. június 3.-i megemlékezésén.

Does the one who started the war dictate the terms of peace?
By Ferenc Cser

According to all the indications, this is so. Though from hindsight this appears contradictory, it is not actually so. One of the reasons – even if not the most important – for starting WWI was the ability to dictate the terms of peace which temporally ends the war. Hungary opposed the war. Following the tyranny of the rat revolt” at the end of the war – or because of it – the delegates of Hungary were not even allowed to sit at the negotiating table but were merely summoned in at the end of the negotiations to accept the terms of the dictate. Additionally, it was made very clear that: the dictate had to be carried out in full, even at the cost of her very existence.

In Hungary our homeland, nine decades after the event, the date of receiving and signing of the peace dictate was declared a Day of National Solidarity. Today we remember this day of our national tragedy, the shame of Trianon.

Yes, we do remember, because what took place there and then, which stamped the fate of all Hungarians, is unforgettable. It can and must not be forgotten, primarily not because its cost, but above all due to its injustice. The Hungarians were then punished – in a general sense – and are penalised even to this day. Then the state-to the bizarre preconceived hatred of the Hungarians, due to what they did not commit. And the Hungarians are punished to this day, for supposedly additional reasons – which naturally are not stated. They, who determined the punishment administer it out and without mercy.

During the elapsed time of nearly a century it has become obvious that the original aim of WWI was the enslavement of the peoples of Europe. But we cannot forget either that the sheer existence of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy and particularly her historical past, irritated the financial oligarchies. It was even more annoying for them that there lived a people in the center of Europe whose language they could not understand and who provided protection to the West at grave cost of their blood, that could not be comprehended. These people irritated them, they were strange both culturally and linguistically, although surrounded by the Slavic sea, whom they tried to subdue for centuries and who slipped out of the yoke each time.

The Hungarians became rebellious, revolutionary. They did not accept the feudal system in wont throughout Europe nor superiority gained by reason of birth. Their huge number of songs, music, vigorous dances of great variety and folklore were all foreign for the conqueror. Their very existence; their will-to-live who are the original inhabitants of the Carpathian Basin, their industry, wealth – and peaceful mode of life – all irritated the rulers of Europe Yes, all this irritated those considering themselves superior. Those, who were preparing the peace dictate were irritated that after their defeat the Hungarians trampled into dust the bloodthirsty Bolshevik swashbucklers who were prepared to present the state to the internationalists. ‘I do not want to see any soldiery’ the Bolshevik Minister for War proclaimed. Hungary had to be humiliated and her conditions of existence lowest level. That was ratified in the Castle of Trianon on 4th June 1920.

We remember Trianon where the Hungarians were forced to sign a humiliating peace dictate. As if the Hungarians had started WWI; as if they were responsible for all the suffering of Europe. It can be ridiculed by the label: Peace Treaty, whereas it was nothing other than a dictate. A dictate that either the Hungarians had to sign or they would have be annihilated. All this was done under the guise of Peace in Europe. TRIANON!

We did sign it. Then, with clenched teeth, we repaid the reparations imposed, while those dictating the ‘treaty’ and enjoying its advantages, attempted to rob whatever valuables and so hinder every possibility of rebuilding the state. This commenced with an attempt to annihilate the state by military means prior to the treaty being signed and with the active participation of the bolshevik rats. However this was blocked by the remnants of the disintegrating military who reunified for the purpose. The ‘rat rebellion’ was crushed with the leadership of Miklós Horthy.

At the time of the handing over of the peace dictate, bells of lamentation tolled throughout the country. The nation mourned. But the death of the nation did not eventuate because the feasibility of the state was assured by the able political leadership so two decades after the promulgation of the dictate she was in a viable condition. This is an unpardonable crime in the eyes of the internationalists! Hungarism! Nationalism! TRIANON!

The humiliating treaties of Trianon and Versailles imposed on the Hungarians and Germans respectively were not designed to create a lasting European peace. In fact they carried within them the seeds of the next World War, which eventuated according to a pre-set timetable within twenty-five years. Hungary, caught between two fires, was in a critical position. In vain all diplomatic efforts then regrettably the mask dropped from the face of the West, who craved and supported the territorial gains of the Bolsheviks rather than the independence and freedom of individual states. This was so especially in the case of Hungary whom they hurled at the feet of Stalin. TRIANON!

The peace treaties following WWII were no less dictates than those preceding it three decades earlier. Hungary was labeled a sinful nation and scourged again. Was it not because she gave a refuge and assistance to the Jewry fleeing from German-occupied lands, she blocked the westward thrust of Russian military forces or that she merely existed? The Allies bombed and blasted Budapest barbarously. And afterwards they extended their palms for further war reparations. To ensure however her incapacity to pay, all machinery from Hungarian secondary industry together with her railway rolling stock were carted off and then placed part-Russian ownership into her industry. TRIANON!

All this should have been enough for Hungarian society to descend into a state of lethargy, yet, even though on a brink extinction due to starvation, as foodstuffs were stripped by the Russians under the guise of compensation, the country was rebuilt so that the bolshevik government and dictatorship of the proletariat could inflict its revenge: rule brutally, imprison torture to death and execute masses of people, force them into a new faith, strip us of our valuables and make it impossible for an intellectual echelon to exist in the country. To quote the words of Rákosi: ‘The intellectual echelon must be constrained by making their existence insecure’ – and the intellectual organizations were disbanded. Consequently a significant percentage of the country’s intellectual force – as and when possible – fled the country from the barbarism of Communism.

Then came 1956 when the youth who were raised in the bolshevik spirit, declared: enough! They rebelled and the Soviet military, which was defeated in Budapest, hit back with new fresh units with such brutality to put down the rebellion, that the Communist movements through Europe were awakened. The bastion of communism was fractured and then after three more decades of agony it finally collapsed. It is a new crime and a new justification for the scourging of Hungarians. TRIANON!

The faith of the western banking oligarchies in the Soviets had already fractured after WWII since they were incapable of achieving the complete bolshevization of Europe. There was a twofold reason for this: – one and the principal one at that! – the German military launched a preemptive attack (just prior to the Red army launching its assault to overrun Europe) and after breaking through its lines started to March towards the Soviet industrial centers. This delayed the Russians by three years. Three years passed before the Soviets were in a position again whence they could move beyond their own borders towards the west. The other lesser but not insignificant obstacle was Budapest, where they were delayed for three months. Meanwhile western societies were awakened and opposed the Russians thereby rescuing their own countries and peoples from bolshevisation.

So, a new solution had to be worked out as a substitute for the bolshevisation from the east. The forming of the alliance of western states began soon after WWII – initially as a common market which was followed by an alliance of states. For us Hungarians, a new possibility was promised for the easing of the negative results of Trianon, to join an alliance of states and thereby unite the separated parts of the nation and in the spirit of the European Union to reduce the ethnic tensions on the Hungarians split separated from Hungary or for that tension to even cease. We were mistaken. Trianon acts with greater force than it did earlier.
We have now arrived at mid-2012, eight years after joining the EU when the ‘Uplands’, northern Hungary, and Erdély, Transylvania, are also members of the Union and we find the prejudicial / harmful effects of Trianon have not vanished.

In Slovakia e. g., the use of Hungarian language is suppressed even more brutally than ever, people are beaten to a pulp for uttering Hungarian words aloud and in addition the courts take legal action against the victims. In Erdély also, attempts were made to break-up Hungarian villages and it is common for persons to be ill-treated for the use of their mother tongue – and not only the extreme nationalists but also the official establishment intimidates anybody declaring himself to be Hungarian. ‘In Romania we speak Rumanian!’ and visitors speaking Hungarian among themselves will not be tolerated. This takes place in the land that was one of the cradles of Hungarian language, heritage and culture and holds one of the richest accumulations of Hungarian folk songs, folk dances, embroidery and folktales – a place where Hungarians were the original inhabitants. TRIANON!

It is best not to mention what the situation is like in Vajdaság, (now part of Serbia) and Podcarptska. In the light of events Hungary and the dark cloud of the anti-Hungarian and Hungarian-hating actions they are not distant. Even within Hungary the actions and words of hate-yobbos proclaiming themselves to be liberal and internationalist (Imre Kertész, Ákos Kertész, György Konrád, Ágnes Heller, Péter Eszterházy, Péter, Dániel, Péter Regős, and the list is practically endless) burn with hatred of all that is Hungarian.

They objected because: the Székely Anthem was sung in the Parliament, a statue of Miklós Horthy was erected and the removal from Budapest of the statue of that Red Count, who urged the destruction of the country, they berate Hungarians because the Hungarians do not fall on their knees in front of them to serve them absolutely. They lay charges against their compatriots and slander their own homeland, people and by any means at their disposal to secure their golden lifestyle. TRIANON!

In relation to them, most recently János Bencsik wrote the following in the Barikád

To those who have an inherited aversion, fear and even hatred concerning Trianon and the fate of the Hungarians wrenched from their fatherland, it is difficult to explain why for many Hungarians the singing of the Székely Anthem brings on an emotive recharge, yet I will attempt just the same. There is a very simple explanation why Trianon can not be avoided. My dear left-liberal friends, it is because on this day, 16th May 2012, every fourth Hungarian infant was born outside the territory of the Hungarian State. That is why!

The situation is made more dire by the actions of those at present in government acting in this way, those, who regards themselves patriotic and came to power with a two-thirds majority as the result of the catastrophicly anti-Hungarian and destructive policies of the previous government,. They enact laws one after the other, in which the wishes of those seeking to purchase and ingress the state are met while our own Hungarian culture is relegated. They forbid by law e. g., that we even seek the truth concerning the supposed genocide of WWII, that we make declarations or speak at variance with the dogma-like ‘articles of faith’ publicized daily – and in a constantly varying manner – and in fact that we even think of these without falling to our knees. They forbid by statute that we even declare as such the yoke being hung on our shoulders or defend ourselves against it.

In the most recent statute book of criminal law they seek to go even further. In addition to the protected minorities the EU is also listed among the protected animals in that one is not allowed to say or write anything against it, criticize her policies forced or about to be forced on us, organize demonstrations against them because above our heads there hangs three years of prison for each infringement as para. 336 sets down:

Anybody, who is responsible for the disturbance of public order, urges disobedience against the statute of the Basic Law, international obligations of the Hungarian state, or legal act required to be used against Hungary by the EU or against orders made by the court or administration based on these, can be convicted to three years of loss of liberty.”

TRIANON!
I was born a Hungarian in Hungary. This is my mother-tongue. I was brought up in Hungarian culture. Having survived several blows of fate during my life my soul was transformed permanently to be Hungarian. Into Hungarian which is my own and is not directed against anybody. Yet if I want to present myself as Hungarian the supporters of the Dictate of Trianon smite me and seek to make me unworthy by fixing all sorts of labels on me thereby excluding me from human society. Because for them if anybody regards himself as Hungarian and thinks that earnestly, that person is Fascist, anti-Semitic, nationalist and a proponent of hate and I can continue with this list of labeling adjectives designating prejudice. Patriotic feelings are only acceptable from non-Hungarians and in their case being patriotic is an adjective of praise – as e. g., on the ABC radio when the patriotism of Smetana and Dvořák is aired. TRIANON!

All these are emblemised by TRIANON. That Trianon where Hungary and Hungarians collectively were declared felonious. And this has been shouted from the house-tops ever since. This is mirrored by the unalterable Benes Decrees. This is asserted by the Hungarian Jewry who serve it up into the mouths of the ‘enlightened’ and ‘progressive’ western leftist liberals who shape opinions and it is then trumpeted by half of the world. But that is not by the better half. Because there is another ‘world’ on this world from which we Hungarians must exclude ourselves but whose interest and perhaps brotherly support we need to seek and accept.

This, so we can put an end once and for all to the destructive effect of the Dictate of Trianon, that we can stand on our own feet again, as we did when state was under the governorship of Miklós Horthy. This, so that our bereavement may once again turn to a will to live. Therefore, in the spirit of the naming of this day as the Day of Remembrance in the Parliament, we must meet and stand united for our rights. We must teach our people so that it becomes clear to them: we are not a felonious nation, we must reject that label as well as those who desire to instill us with this faith as a dogma. We must teach and learn so that we can take a stand against this crushing conquest. Because that is the basis of our future resurrection and the annulment of the trauma of Trianon.

We express our desire and wish to do so with the last stanza of our national anthem:
Pity, O Lord, the Hungarians
Who are tossed by waves of danger
Extend over it your guarding arm
On the sea of its misery
Long torn by ill fate
Bring upon it a time of relief
They who have suffered for all sins
Of the past and of the future!
